Of Transfers and Thursday Mornings..

Ronaldinho moved to AC Milan!
Hleb signed for Barcelona!
Gilberto Silva to Panatinaikos?..

These were the latest transfers and transfer rumours that I have read so far. My goodness.. I have to admit one thing thought - these season, teams are desperate.. Well, not all, but many are.

Currently, and Cristiano Ronaldo saga still goes on, Real defender Fabio Cannavaro saying that CR ought to honour his contract at United. It also seems that no player in Reald Madrid wants to move to Old Trafford in trade of CR - so far, Robinho and Sneijder were the players offered.

Many big European clubs have been on the move - the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Barcelona have been selling and buying, Juventus too, and AC Milan. Dare not say if this season will be more competitive, as many squad has grown "stronger" - inverted comas, as some teams think they have grown stronger, but when the season comes, they flop.

Liverpool has so far sold many, and signed almost as many. Departures were Riise (Roma), Kewell (Galatasary - free transfer), Crouch (Porstmouth) and youth team player Guthrie (Newcastle). Coming in are Degen, Dossena, and Cavalieri. Benitez said he will still sign a few more players, though the only player that he wanted to signed, but has yet to, is Aston Villa captain Gareth Barry. zZz My opinion of this - he's not worth 18 million. It is of course expected of AV to rate him so high, as number 1 - they are not happy with the fact that he wants to leave, and number 2 - he has been a great player for AV. Well, some players who are better than him don't even cost that much I'm sure. Anyways...

Arsenal sold Lehmann, Hleb and Flamini; coming in - Narsi and a young player, Ramsey.
Chelsea - in: Deco, Bosingwa. Out: Sidwell (Aston Villa)
Barcelona - in: Seydou Keita, Hleb, Daniel Alves, Pique; out - Edmilson(Villareal), Ronaldinho, Zambrotta (AC Milan), Dos Santos (Tottenham), Deco (Chelsea).

Time running out, for me. Phonetics class! Woohoo! Till my next blog..
