Trip To KL - Passion World Tour - Sunway Piramid Convention Centre

At long last, the day that many Christians who signed up for the conference has been waiting for. Passion World Tour. Woohoo!

Started our journey to KL at about noon - 12 pm that is. There were about close to 20 of us. 2 hour plus journey. Reached at about half past two. Went to Sunway Piramid straight away, as we had to exchange our tickets for a wristband. Splitted from the rest to have our lunch, which was at "The Manhattan Fish Market". Wau.. You will never imagine the bill. I will not tell you. 7 of us were there - it became 8 when Ju Siong joined us later. The 7 - Mike, Wei Wei, Meli, Ming, me, Jack, and Anthony.

Did not have to time to shop, as by the time we finished our lunch, it was already late. Went up to the Convention Centre after that. Heard William was coming too! Did not have the chance to meet up though. Too bad. Bought their merchandise - a t-shrit worth RM60, size - XL. Kind of nice. Anyways, wao! The place was packed with people man! Goodness know how many thousands - 4,000 if I'm not mistaken.Waited quite a while before we could actually enter, but anyhow.. We finally did!

Then it all began! The Praise and Worship, lead by Chris Tomlin (never thought I could actually meet him!), and wao.. It's just awesome. The manner in how they started they whole thing.. *speechless*. As all of us were praising God, I began to realise something - You know all the Christian albums that you listen to, the great music created by great people of God? Yeah, you can listen to the CD and say that their music is wonderful, or should I say, "cool". =) However, to actually be there is a TOTALLY DIFFERENT EXPERINCE altogether! It's just totally not the same when you listen to the music on CD, than when you are ACTUALLY THERE! Man, I haven't got a single clue on how to explain this. You have to experience this yourself, then you will know/understand what I mean. The music, the atmosphere.. *speechless again*

PnW (Praise and Worship) was wonderful. Even though I do not know the songs, we still manage to leard it quick enough, and sang along with them. There were, of course, a few songs that I knew, but then again.. Had a short time of prayer before moving on, with more PnW. Haha.. Here are some pictures that were taken by them during PnW. Then sharing by Louie. The story that he shared about Ashley was really touching. Will share it here.

Ps - For those who went, heard about the story, and is reading this post, forgive me for spelling mistakes.

Ps 2 - This is a true story.

This story is about a girl name Ashley, who is a "party" girl in a university somewhere in America. Her story goes as her being one of the "Top Ten" partying girls in her university. Coming from a broken family - parents divorced, followed dad as her mother and brother-in-law were all Christians, and she did not like Christianity. Neither did her dad - she began to find fulfillment of this world. Has a boyfriend, but after two years, separated for "certain reasons". Think you guys can guess it. As she does not like living alone - she was living with her boyfriend before this - she then put on an announcement saying that she is looking for a roommate. A girl name Kristy took that opportunity, a lo and behold, they were roommates.

Kristy is a Christian girl, and to cut the story short, began to share her life being a Christian to Ashley, explaining to Ashley that, "no matter how screwed up a person you are, God still loves you the same." Ashley's life has been a terrible mess, but after hearing that, and hearing what Louie has shared during one of the Passion Conference on DVD, she began to be interested. Her life changed, and I mean TOTALLY changed.

Louie was reading her story from a journal that Ashley has been writing on - Well, what I call, "blog", except that it is handwritten. It started from January (what year, forgotten), and after April, it stopped. She did not have the chance to continue writing her story about being a Christian anymore, and she also did not have the chance to keep living for Christ, but has instead "went Home to join Him". She passed away after being hit by a vehicle while she was talking on a public phone. Had internal bleeding which the doctors failed to stop.

That story has taught me a couple of things :
1) We should live for Christ as long as we are still alive, and praise God everyday that we are still alive.
2) We should learn to appreciate life, because we do not know when it's our turn to "go".
3) To take every opportunity to share about God's love, as it is an AMAZING thing, and perhaps, the most amazing thing EVER.

He also shared a song that Ashley love very much. The song is called "Mighty To Save", taken form Hillsong Australia. Will post it in the next blog.

Anyways message to you guys : Praise God to people like you who are willing to go all out for Christ! Journey mercy to Jakarta, Indonesia, and to the rest of the countries that you guys are going to! May Jakarta be moved too! God bless!

It ended! Wish it could continue, but it has to end somehow. There is one thing that will never die though - the passion. Haha.. Was truely blessed throughout the whole thing. Although tired (had a bit of cramp, hee) still.. Started journey home at about 10 plus, stopped half way at a rest area to buy food (KFC, woohoo!) then, journey all the way home. Tired, slpet, and woke up at about nine plus this morning. Wao.. That's how tired I was. Am I ever so grateful that there is no class today, as both lecturers were away for some conference.

Lets hope the Passion never ceases. God bless.
