What in the football league is happening...!

Ahh.. So many things has happened the BPL (Barclays Premier League). Well, how about it? Lets go!

First of all, the takeover of Abu Dhabi-based business tycoons the United Group for Development and Investment over Manchester City. Former Thai PM Thaksin Sinawatra has decided to sell City, after having trouble with his own country (or so it seems). Lo and behold, the VERY FIRST thing the new owners did, was sabotage the transfer of Robinho from our very own mega-'rich' club, Chelski. Guess what was the story behind it - it seems that, number one, Chelski was not willing to pay that kononnya "few extra million" for him. I mean, mega-"rich" Chelski, not willing to give a few extra million. ROFLMAO. What the heck?! Since when did Roman became so triffty?! Wao, so willing to splash it all on Shevchenko (who became a flop, and went back to AC Milan few weeks ago), yet for a good player in Robinho, you ACTUALLY think twice about spending that few extra?! @_@

The second reason was Chelski already put Robinho's name on the blue Chelski kit, which Real Madrid did not like it. Seems that this is not showing respect to Real, as they still haven't sold him at that time. So having know that, Real decided not to sell him there after all.

Thirdly, guess what, Robinho was going nuts! Seems that he was mentally unstable, and wanted to leave Real in a jiffy. It also seems that Robinho did not like the idea of being the player that was to be traded for CR7 (Cristiano Ronaldo's nickname), and think that he is not valued at Real. When he heard that City made a higher offer than Chelski's, he IMMEDIATELY took it, or I think, Real did. Well, he is a City player now.

There were other deadline signings as well, though not as chi gek as the Robinho one, but still.. The BerbaSaga finally ended when the Bulgarian international FINALLY, and I mean, FINALLY, joined his DREAM CLUB Manchester United, with younster Fraizer Campbell going the opposite direction. Winger Albert Riera joined Liverpool from Spanish club Espanyol, with right-back Steve Finnan going the opposite direction as well.

Ps - This is for Finnan. You have been a very great servant for Liverpool, and I totally mean, VERY GREAT SERVANT. Hands down. Despite the errors you have made, I'm sure all Liverpool fans will remember the contribution you have made to the club. All the best in Spain!
I seriously wish you stayed though, but then again, it's Rafa's decision. YNWA (You Never Walk Alone)!

Continue.. Two coaches has already resign. Well, watch out for the word I'm using. RESIGN, not SACKED. Weird isn't it? Alan Curbishley and Kevin Keegan has both left West Ham and Newcastle respectively, both having the same reason - apparently - which is : They are not happy with the board.

Apparently, both boards has sold both teams key players, which were also suprises of this summer's transfer. For West Ham, they released Swedish midfielder Freddie Ljungberg, and sold centre-back Anton Ferdinand, and left-back George McCartney, to Sunderland. As for Newcastle, Keegan did not have the significant funds he wanted to sign certain players, and had winger James Milner sold to rivals Aston Villa.

The sick part is, all these happened without the knowledge of the two bosses. Before they knew it, their players were gone. JUST LIKE THAT. Well, who wouldn't be pissed to lose their top players, especially after what we have seen in the first 3 weeks, where even the Big Four struggled. It shows that the league is getting tougher, and the last thing a manager needs is to lose players. But there they go. So, what can they do? One word that fits this kind of situation : Boycott. Keegan skipped training. Resigned few days later. Curb didn't skip, but resigned immediately. There goes two managers already.

Well, I seriously have no comment about all these events, because it's just too shocking. What can I say to the managers who has resigned? What, ask them to say to the club they have resigned from, "Good riddance to bad rubbish"? I can't balme them at all. In fact, they did the right thing - not getting involved in "politics" among the board, and take the very first action, resign. and to the signing of Robinho - well, I hope you adapt to the BPL as fast as Elano did.

Ps - To whoever is replacing Curbs and Keegan at West Ham and Newcastle respectively, I pray and hope that they will treat you well. Yeah, like TOTALLY TREAT YOU WELL.

Alrighty. I'm out.
