GameWeek 4 has gone by with lots of excitement. Sorry for the delay though. Here's a review.
Team(s) of the Week
1. Hull City - I'm sorry Liverpool, but for me, Hull City gets it this week. This newly promoted team has certainly taken advantage of Keegan's departure, and has grabbed a victory which sends them to the top five. Taking an old cliche, not bad for starters. A double by Marlon King, with the Magpies pulling a goal back to debutant Xisco, sees Hull City scoring 7 points in four games. Seriously, not bad.
2. Liverpool - Alright, you do deserve a spot at least. Heh. The performance they gave to win their first ever game over Manchester United in four years with Rafa does shows something - that they mean business. Especially having to come from behind as well. If they did this at OT, it would have been more impressive. Tevez's third minute goal, assisted by new boy Berbatov, was cancelled by a calamitous own goal by Wes Brown, assisted by the goalkeeper Edwin Van Der Sar, before supersub Ryan Babel scored the winning goal.
Player of the Week
Emmanuel Adebayor - Impressive hat trick against Blackburn Rovers. Not easy to get a treble at Ewood Park. Will continue to look to improve on his goal scoring form.
Players Red Card Award
What an award. Who wants it anyway? Heck though, I still want to give it. Nemanja Vidic and Danny Guthier gets the award this week. Whenever there is red cards, it equals horrendous tackles, disciplinary problems. Though I have to admit, I don't know about Guthier, but Vidic, my goodness. Some said he should have been gone on th first tackle he made on Keane, but he only got send off after another challenge of Alonso. Well..
Ps - Did I tell you that Chelsea captain John Terry got a red as well, except that it was overturned? This makes him available for the match against United. Umm
That's all I have. Looking forward to Week 5. Highlight of that Week - Chelsea vs Manchester United.
