Weekend Story

Back for a longer weekend this time, 'cause our national day is on Monday. Kind of weird of me not going back to Kampar right now, but then again, going back tomorrow(Monday). So yeah...

Have been improving health wise. Liver enzyme dropped to almost half of the initial count. Doctor says follow up is not required, though I think I'll go for another blood test.

Semester's coming to an end so fast. It's already week 14, and before you know it, it's study week, then it's the finals. Then camp!!!^^ Then next semester. Heh

Well, having a longer weekend is also good. We can get the break we need. Thanks to Merdeka.

Happy National Day? Hmm... ;)

Dumbass...

I was reading this article comcerning "dodgy degrees", and really wondered, "How low can they go?"

I mean, these people are SOMEHOW getting degrees and Masters without having to study anything, and the main purpose is just to get a title.

"Ah hahaha ha haha haha ha, ah ho heh heh ahha, ah ho hii ha, haha. And I thought MY jokes were bad." (I always like to use this phrase. Blek)

Heh. This people will become laughing stocks, 'cause they had to get their degree and Masters otherwise. I mean, you've GOT.TO.BE.KIDDING.ME. Are you THAT desperate? Hmm...

Anyways, it seems that the respective governments of respective countries (it's not only happening in Malaysia) cannot do anything at the moment for some apparent reason. Well, I do hope they can do something one day, 'cause let me tell you, degrees and Masters CANNOT.BE.BOUGHT or owned otherwise. It is earned, dumbass.

Update

Update of this stupid "viral infection" that I'm having.

Tough week it was, but I managed to get my second blood test done. The result was even worse than the previous; my white-blood-cells (WBC) blood count rose higher, meaning to say that it's producing more WBCs to fight. I mean, what is going on in my body? Sometimes I would really like to know. Curiosity kills the cat? Hmm...

Man, what kind of virus would require such high amount of WBC to fight? I'm not even suspected of H1N1 (touchwood), not dengue (touchwood no.2), and not any other kind of virus of any significance. Yet, I'm a host to a so-called WWII.

Metaphorically speaking, it's like a country bombing another country, and what you see on my body is the aftermath of the bombing, a.k.a the "dots" all over my body.

Plus, my lips are now cracking as well, so I do not know what's becoming of my body already. God, I uphold this body into your hands. I don't know what to expect anymore.

Anyways, a great thank you for all those who have shown their concern, especially those who have taken care of me. You know who you are ;)

Especially yOu^.^

Horrible week... Already...

It's only Tuesday, and it's a horrible week already. What's with many missing items, including a pendrive which I found, and now THIS.

I don't know what do you call it; it's like measles, yet it doesn't itch. My friend, who is a doctor, said it was virual infection. Apa hell? He also said that my blood count for white blood cell is very high, which is dangerous.

Gracious me, did I push my body this far, till it can get this kind of crap? Or is it because I did not take care of myself well? Perhaps it's a bit of both, but anyways, if it gets worse, I'll be admitted to a hospital in Ipoh, and there goes my semester.

*God, I don't know what You're trying to do right now, but I pray that whatever this crap is, that You will take it away, so that I may continue this sem, because I.DON'T.WANT.TO.DEFFER. Ultimately, may Your Will be Done. Amen*

Weather Randomness

Guess the weather knows the meaning of randomness too. One moment it can be as hot as hell - and I mean, literally hell - then the NEXT moment it decides to rain.

Seriously. I felt it myself while I was walking back from class to where my motorbike was parked. On the way, I felt the scorching sun burning my leg. AND THIS AIN'T NO JOKE. I felt as if the next moment I would literally see fire on my legs. I appreciated EVERY SHADE that came along my way. And of course in this kind of situation, you wouldn't bet on it to rain. I reached home, and took a nap.

Lo and behold!, when I woke up, everything was dark. It was as if night was about to arrive, when it was only close to 5p.m. And of course, it was raining. However, I was like, "What?" and "No way." I wanted to go out and pack dinner already, and it decided to rain during that time. But like I said earlier: You wouldn't bet on it to rain. It did.

My friend said this: "Even the weather PMSes"

24 - Switchfoot

Twenty four oceans
Twenty four skies
Twenty four failures
Twenty four tries
Twenty four finds me
In twenty-fourth place
Twenty four drop outs
At the end of the day
Life is not what I thought it was
Twenty four hours ago

Still I'm singing Spirit take me up in arms with You
And I'm not who I thought I was twenty four hours ago
Still I'm singing Spirit take me up in arms with You

Twenty four reasons to admit that I'm wrong
With all my excuses still twenty four strong

See I'm not copping out not copping out not copping out
When You're raising the dead in me
Oh, oh I am the second man
Oh, oh I am the second man now
Oh, oh I am the second man now

And You're raising these twenty four voices
With twenty four hearts
With all of my symphonies
In twenty four parts
But I want to be one today
Centered and true

I'm singing Spirit take me up in arms with You
You're raising the dead in me
Oh, oh I am the second man
Oh, oh I am the second man now
Oh, oh I am the second man now
And You're raising the dead in me

I want to see miracles, see the world change
Wrestled the angel, for more than a name
For more than a feeling
For more than a cause
I'm singing Spirit take me up in arms with You
And You're raising the dead in me
Twenty four voices
With twenty four hearts
With all of my symphonies
In twenty four parts.
I'm not copping out. Not copping out. Not copping out.

My Record

I don't care what you say, about whether you had longer hours than this, but this is MY record. 16 hours away from home. Went to class at 8a.m, came back at 12.30a.m. Details shall not be disclosed.

Who sustained me? You better believe it. It's Him ;)

Storytime! =)

Once a upon a time in Egypt, there lived a Pharaoh and his beautiful palace. The city was joyful, everyone was happy la la la la la. Now there was a famine, and this has caused lack of food all over the country. Luckily for Pharaoh and his people, they were well stocked in, and perhaps in anticipation of this famine, the Pharaoh has already summoned his people to gather as much as they can, so that they can not only use it for surviving, they can help other people as well.

One day, his fellow men came to him with a report, saying, "We have found out that there has been someone stealing food. We can't go on feeding the people if this keeps happening."

The Pharaoh said: "How dare the thief!!! Hence I lay this law: that whoever is caught stealing food shall be whipped, PUBLICLY." So the rule was set throughout the whole city, and everyone was afraid. Not the thief though.

Of course, one cannot get away from stealing forever, and even though such things as CSI, NCIS, Criminal Minds, or even FBI for that matter, did not exsist during that time, the thief was eventually caught.

His fellow men came back to him once again. One of them said: "Your Highness, we have some good news and some bad news. The good news is we caught the thief. The bad news is: The thief is YOUR MOTHER."

Stunned and taken aback, the Pharaoh didn't know what to think. He's in a dilemma: He has set the rule, and if he does not follow it, the villages will not trust him. On the other hand, he loved his mother, and he certainly cannot think of an 80 year-old being with like that. "She'll die," he said to himself.

The day of the whipping came, and his mother was all set to be whipped. Executers on the ready, whips chosen, and it was about to begin. The Pharaoh sat on his seat motionless, when suddenly he sprang unto his feet, ran to his mother like a possesed man, and said, "Stop!!! Stop all this!!!" And to the huge surprise of everyone, including his fellow men, he took off his clothes, and said: "WHIP ME INSTEAD."

This is exactly what Jesus has done for US on the Cross. God was in Pharaoh's shoe: He was a fair and just God, and He punishes the wicked. Yet at the same time, He loves us so much, because HE IS LOVE. So He sent His Son Jesus to take our place instead, and to die for US worthless sinners, so that we, like the Pharaoh's mother, can be saved.

Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and FALLEN SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD.

I almost lost it...

Yeah, you wouldn't believe it. I almost lost it. Lost my cool that is. Couldn't help it. Praise God I didn't say anything, otherwise it would be ugly.

All I did was make a simple announcement concerning an ELS exhibition, and HE had to say something. I somehow knew it, and was prepared for it, until what HE said pissed me off.

It felt like the last time; the last time when he was being sacarstic about a certain issue, and there was this bang in my heart. I was all out to rebuke him, but God stopped me. Man, THAT'S how powerful God is, Amen?

This time though, it didn't really happen. Anything and everything that had to do with curses and four-letter-words was ready in my mouth, aimed and ready to be fired like an XM312, .50 cal machine gun. However, those words couldn't come out of my mouth. It was like, I was suffering "tip-of-the-toungue". Anyways, I couldn't bring myself to blurt it out. Praise God for His wonderful works.

Better pray for better days ahead, 'cause it's going to be a hell of a remainding 5 weeks. What's with assignments and exhibitions to prepare, there's just no getting away from it is there?

A new thought...

I just thought of this during my Journalism II class later yesterday (Friday) evening. Our lecturer was talking about PPSMI, which is Science and Mathematics in English, and the fact that the rule was to be implemented in 2012, that everything will be reverted back to the format it once was, which is: teaching Science and Maths in own mother-tongue during primary, and teaching it in BM in secondary.

So, the question that came to my mind: WHY 2012???

Just so you know, that is ALSO the year for the next general election. Coincidence? I beg to differ.

So much for the lame excuse of needing time to revert it back to BM, I have a hunch that there's another reason behind it, and this is a word I'm bored of using (blek): POLITICS. There can be no other reason besides this. My hunch is they CHOOSE to implement this rule THEN so that they can gain back the votes of the people.

Well, using THIS for political reasons? Wao, that's a big risk to take. You're spoiling the future of Malaysia for your own egoistic purpose, just so you know. But heck, it's NOT.LIKE.YOU.CARE.

~Do you care about the future of Malaysia? NO.
~Do you care about the fact that Malaysians are not learning English well? NO.
~Do you care about the fact also, that students will be EVENTUALLY learning things in English when they go to universities or colleges a.k.a struggling to learn? NO
~Do you care to accept that BM is NOT an INTERNATIONALLY USED language? NO

All you think of is getting your votes back, or at least, the confidence of the rakyat in you. Is that what Malaysia really want?

And guess what's the best part?

Both parties are in support of the SAME.DAMN.THING. Anwar(Opposition) supports it, and the government(Barisan Nasional) OBVIOUSLY supports it, otherwise they wouldn't implement the rule.

Mind you, I'm eligible to vote by then, and if this is the real cause, man... I don't know who to vote for. Can't I not vote? No I can't. But who to vote?

Ahh crap, this is a question that only needs to be answered 3 years later. For the moment, let's enjoy the show, and see what happens within the next 3 years.

With that, I rest my case.

Funny randomness

My cell members created this while on the way back from an outing. Passing by the Jusco area, we saw a lot of cars going in and out, and came up, with THIS:

It's a fiesco
That there are so many cars
Going into Jusco
And coming
Out of Tesco

How random ^.^
