At long last, it has come to an end. The everyday dreading of the next paper has all past us by, and now we can all breathe a sigh of relief. Although there's still the results to worry about, for the moment, we couldn't be bothered to think about it.
Had BBQ yesterday night, and it was totally fun and full of laughter. There was of course, first the setting up of things and food. I have to admit, those who were preparing for the food has surely put in a lot of effort into it, despite being in the midst of exam. Thanks gals.
Side-track. A few of us were trying out this electronic cooking stove. We couldn't get it to work, because it just automatically shuts down after a minute or so. We kept trying and trying, yet it still wouldn't work. It was only later we found out why: the stove couldn't detect the pot that was being use to cook, 'cause it can only detect aluminium pots. zZz
Anyways, one of them brought theirs, and we can finally cook. Yours truly here deep-fried French fries, and man, it was nice (for an amateur cooking. Hee) Cooked a few more rounds before letting others do it. Pity, couldn't save some for yOu. ^^
The BBQ then started to heat up, with more and more of our coursemates and juniors coming in. Someone brought his stereo set to blast music, man was it good. The host made some "lai-chi aga aga". Was it fantastic! I literally had my dinner based on only just that alone. Hehe. While eating, two of my coursemates took out water-guns (heh), and started shooting people. I ended up having a "gun-fight" with one of them, and was a little wet.
Then the usual playing cards and pokers routine began. We played "Big 2 a.k.a cho-dai-di", then later played heart-attack. This time however, we had a new game: Mafia. I'd never played Mafia with them before, so playing it was fun. I conducted the first two rounds of the game, then in the third game, I joined in.
Tips: This is a new tip that I got from one of my coursemates concerning this game, and I'll have you know, it "wicked sick". Here goes: As the mafia, you often have to choose someone to kill. But here's the catch. You can have an option of killing yourself. That way, no one will know who is the Mafia, and will have to play till the end, only to discover that the Mafia "killed" himself/herself. Wicked huh?
That's what I tried yesterday. I got the position of the Mafia, and well, got through many rounds, almost being suspected of being the mafia. Escaped, and down to the final four, I decided to try that strategy, knowing that I would have no chance to win the game ('cause I'm the primary suspect of the four.) Little did I know, that the "doctor" healed me later on! Here I am, trying kill myself because I had too much fun, and the "doctor" decided to save my ass! In the end I gave up, admitting that I'm the one, 'cause I couldn't contain myself anymore. After that, a few of us went up to visit one of our coursemate who was feeling very tired. Had a little chat there, and there seems to be a lot of complains about the Danish house management. Oh well...
Then things started to get a little crazy.
The host was shouting a little, wanting to play Big 2. At one look at her face, I knew something was wrong, then only to realise: She's drunk. She was still half conscious, but the other half of her was drunk. She laughed a little crazier than usual, and she was DEFINITELY not normal.
We then went on as planned: playing water balloons. We filled up the balloons, and started throwing at each other. One of them burst the balloon directly on top of me, and I was drenched. Overall, half of us got wet. However, the host wasn't satisfied, as she wanted the people inside to play along. To cut the story short, in the end, almost all of us got wet, but amazingly, only 3 people got fully drench, and they so happened to be the organisers of the BBQ.
Before going off, we made sure that the host was safe inside her house first, before going off. Ended up coming back at about 2 plus. Tired, and sleep.
What an end to Year One Semester Two. Pictures coming up soon I hope.
