It was 8a.m in the morning. He was still slumbering on his pillow and bed, not wanting to wake up at all. "The weather is perfect", he said to himself unconciously. "I'm going to continue sleeping." With his eyes half opened, he noticed something missing beside his bed.
"Nan da (what....)?", he asked himself. However, still in his unconcious state, he didn't bother too much, and went on sleeping.
It was not till he fully woke up that he found out what actually happened.
"Holy crap!!!" he said, and desperately searched him room. His table, cupboard, among his clothes, and even the living room.
Nothing.
Holding both his hands on his head, he went out of his apartment, and try to look for it. Looking around desperately, he went around the perimeter of the apartment.
Nothing.
His phones were missing. BOTH PHONES, and he couldn't believe it. His apartment has a history of numerous thefts, with missing clothes to missing wallet. Now two missing phones.
"Son na (no way)..." he thought to himself.
Still in his pyjamas, went tried looking around again, but could find nothing. He found himself having to swallow the very fact that both his phones were GONE.
He went back, changed, and came up to try and look again. "Impossible. Who would want such old and useless phones? Who would be THAT desperate? Most students would have better phones than I do, so why..." Then a thought came to his mind. "Foreign workers? They ain't that rich, though not that I'm underestimating them..."
There are foreign workers staying nearby his apartment, and suspicion began to creep into his heart. Just as he was looking, he saw a friend, and told her not to call his number again. As she went away, he called her back, saying, "Hey can I use your phone?"
"Sure."
Dailing his old number, he remembers that his Sony Erricson was switched off, while his Nokia was left on. He managed to call the Maxis number, which was in the Nokia, while failing to get through his Digi, which was in the Sony Erricson. "That means they are still asleep, and the condition of the phone was still as it was when it was stolen," he thought to himself. But there's nothing he can do now.
He went back, switched on his computer, and announced it throughout Facebook, Twitter and MSN Messanger. Immediately, all 3 of these applications were bombed with concerns and suggestions of what and what not to do, some even saying that perhaps it's time to get a new phone.
It suddenly dawn upon him, the irony: Yes he did pray for a new phone, but not like this!!! Calming himself down, he prayed, that whoever is having his phone right now will use it wisely, and that God has a plan for everything that has happened, is happening and will happen. With that, he went about his own business.
He wished his housemate played a prank on him.
Ps: Don't call my numbers anymore, until I either get a new number or manage to block the old number and get it back. Thank you =)
