My evaluation: Alright. It wasn't the same Liverpool that we saw last week, where they were world class. After travelling back from Portugal, and having the demoralising defeat to Benfica, psychology was Liverpool's enemy today (Sunday). What's more, against a team that apparently none of the big four has won, and Villa and Bolton had... I mean. CUT THEM SOME SLACK WHY DON'T YOU?!
One may argue, "Excuse me, they are P.R.O.F.E.S.S.I.O.N.A.L.S" So? They are still humans. Give them drugs and they'll probably trash Birmingham like they did to Sunderland. Imagine YOU being on the flight back from Portugal, still hanging your head over that defeat to a certain team, and having to face tough opponents who had the entire week of rest. "It's all in the mind" you say. Well, come back with a victory and they might be more geared up. Try having the opponents knack your key players all the time, and you'll have something like what happened in the game - Torres taken off on the hour mark. And guess what? N'gog brought in more chances to the game, although the down point was he took none of them, but what can you expect of a raw striker like him? For him to change the game was good enough, though it'll be icing on the cake if he won it.
Anyways, it's too much for now. Let's just hope they beat Benfica and Fulham next week. YNWA.
Ps - It wasn't a "red week" in F1 as well, as Felipe Massa was the only Ferrari that finished. Fernando Alonso's car went up in smokes AT.THE.LAST.LAP. Fancy that. And Massa only finished 7th. Good job though, considering he started from the back of the grid.
