A politician's words....

Attended a talk given by the state assemblymen of Subang Jaya, YB Hannah Yeoh. She shared about how she became a politician with limited resources and limited experience, and how not easy it was for her through that journey of being a politician. Praise God though, 'cause He saw her through, and gave her a good husband.

She also shared about how we can be the "Salt of the earth, and light of the world." It don't mean that being a politician means you can't do anything with God for your country. After all, this IS one of the best position to be WITH the people, and to be FOR the people. I also strongly believe that if she continue with the Lord's ways, many people will be reached out to. How strategic. =)

But there was one thing that she said which striked me, and it goes like this:

"To do great things, there is a price to pay."

But I'm sure that in the end, that "price" we have to pay will be worth it indeed, as it is for the glory of God. Amen. =)
