Dumb E-mails..

I post this before, about Friendster bulletins. The dumb things people do with it, telling you that "if you don't repost this in 20 minutes, your mother will die." This time, I'm going to switch the focus to the e-mails.

Yes, e-mails that tells you the SAME. DAMN. THING.

"If you forward this, your life will be more beautiful."

"If you don't take my advice and forward this mail, I will crawl out of your bed and stab you."

"Ha haha ha hahaha ha haha, ah ho he he ahha, ah ho hii ha, haha. And I thought MY jokes were bad..."

What's more, they give you "live" examples of what happened to people previously when they did not "do what was instructed", saying that other people died of not forwarding these mails. trying to scare the hell out of other readers.

"...
and he doesn't like that. NOT. ONE. BIT."

I mean, get real. Do you really think it will happen? Do you think that something's really going to crawl out underneath your bed and kill you, or kill anyone for that matter? That's what I call, LAME. These people are too free to create these kind of mail, and want to send it all around the world, scaring the life out of them, making them forward the mails they created.

They also try to make you look stupid, saying that "if you are smart, pass this on". Yeah right! Only idiots will pass mails like these on. So if you have, please do not do it again. IT'S. ALL. FAKE.

And I do wish that there will not be anymore of this kind of e-mails. 'Cause it's just...

"...Pathetic..."

Make me a believer. zZz

Only for the top people..

Got this from Batman: The Dark Knight. Nice quotation, kind of like it, 'cause it's a bit related what's going on in our country today. Or at least I think it is. XP

"Introduce a little, anarchy. Upset the established order, and everything becomes, CHAOS."

Randomness...

It's been a while since study week started, and I've been crazy trying to finish writing notes for Semantics. SEMANTICS. Gracious me, too many theoratical stuff. It's crazy. Almost done though. I'm done with Critical Reading and Thinking, and now just need to re-read and re-think. Lolx.

I think if I go on like this, I'd lose my mind, and eventually myself. So God help me.

I need yOur help too. ^^

Today, 20 years ago...

Tragedy. 20 years ago, on this day, football fans went to watch a FA Cup semi-final match, but 96 of them did not come back, after being crushed by the collapsing stadium. As a Liverpool fan, this post is to pay tribute to the 96 who did not make it. Remember, You Never Walk Alone. Rest in peace.

Week full of goals 11/04/09-12/04/09

This weeks Barclays Premier League served up lots and lots of goals, with the match between Chelsea vs Bolton leading the way with 7 goals. The match between Aston Villa and Everton served 6. Two other matches had saw more than 4 goals at least, with the game between Wigan and Arsenal having 5, and Liverpool's crushing of Blackburn had 4, with Blakcburn not replying.

The matches between Manchester City and Fulham, and Middlebrough and Hull City ahd four goals as well, but both the scorelines were 3-1, while the match between Porstmouth and West Brom had equal share of the four goals.

On the more low scoring level, Tottenham's victory over The Hammers was the lowest of the week, 1-0 the scoreline. Other than that, Stoke and Newcastle drew a goal a piece, while United laboured to a 2-1 victory at the Stadium of Light.

There was a staggering 40 goals this week. Good to enjoy. =)

24 - Near Accident...

The event below took place between 5-5.30 pm, on Thursday, 9th of April 2009. Location: Kampar.

They always say that those who ride motorcycles are the dangerous ones, and riding one itself is dangerous, because it's very vulnerable. And my, did I come close to feeling how vulnerable it can be.

Picture this.. I know picture paints a thousand words, but I don't have the picture or video now, so I'm going to paint THAT thousand words instead.. Picture this. It's raining cats and dogs, and you want to go back after a long day at university. The last thing that's stopping you is the damn rain. You no longer have the luxury of driving a car, and the only consolation you get is a motorcycle.. Well, at least it's better than cycling but anyways (don't yOu laugh ^^). You decided that the rain ain't going to stop you, 'cause you want to go back, rest and prepare yourself for Easter presentation that night. So you took out your raincoat, and rode the motor home.

Traffic light. You waited. Patiently. For it to turn green. Common sense. You don't move when it's red. Finally your turn comes. You press the gear (reminder - it's a motorbike), trottle the bike, and got ready to move. When you were moving, somehow, MIRACULOUSLY, you turn your head to the right, to see another motorist, coming towards you. FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD, where it was red light, and he just cross without the care of the world. Not that you really care if he was caught or got into an accident with someone else. The only problem is, he's coming towards YOU.

You manage to brake in time to allow him to pass. However, you were pissed, in which, no one would blame you, 'cause you have EVERY DAMN RIGHT to be. You honk him FOR A LONG TIME, and you just give him THE LOOK. He continues riding away. What a dumbass...

It was still raining.

You rode away, feeling shocked and stunned to learn that you were THIS close to getting an accident. And you remember your friend, saying that there is an average of 3 accidents everyday in Kampar, minor or major.

Imagine you were among the 3. (choi/touchwood)

Inconsiderate Idiot.

Liverpool 4 Blackburn 0

Liverpool once again scored another big scoreline, this time relegation threatened Blackburn Rovers being the victim. A double by Torres, which takes his tally to 14 overall this season, and further goals by Daniel Agger and subsitute David N'gog gave Liverpool the victory they fully deserved, though they should have been four up before that.

Here's the match in pictures:

The Liverpool XI: Arbeloa, Benayoun, Kuyt, Alonso, Mascherano, Agger, Reina, Torres, Insua, Reira and Carragher

Down to the last week...

At long last! Everything's over!... Well, almost everything. There's still week 14, and there's STILL assignments and presentations to prepare. What a drag... Well, at least almost everything is over. All the hard work put in, and the sleeps sacrificed, guess it was all worth it. Don't know how I made it, but I think God helped at lot. And when I say a lot, I mean A LOT.

Easter was also a success. We did the play twice, one here (Kampar - Thursday), one in Ipoh yesterday (Friday) night. Praise God for seeing us throughout the whole process, even though many of us were tired. Congrats to the crew: Robert, Richard, Mike, MJ, Jessie, John, Aaron, Alvis, Mr. Tan, Anthony, ShirLey, and of course, not forgetting Pei Lee, our beloved director, and PC and KL as well.

Now we can focus on our finals. =)

yOu helped too. ^^

Love Is Here - Tenth Avenue North

A dedication to all my readers, Christian or non-Christian. Happy Easter, and remember the Lord reigns, always!

Love Is Here - Tenth Avenue North

Come to the water
You who thirst
And you'll thirst no more
Come to the father
You who work
And you'll work no more
And all you who labor in vain
And to the broken and shamed

Love is here
Love is now
Love is pouring from His hands
From His brow
Love is near
It satisfies
Streams of mercy flowing from His side

'Cause love is here

Come to the treasure
You who search
And you'll search no more
Come to the lover
You who want
And you'll want no more, no
And all you who labor in vain
And to the broken and shamed
Yeah

And to the bruised and fallen
Captives bound and broken hearted
He is the Lord
He is the Lord, yeah
By his stripes
He's paid our ransom
From His wounds we drink salvation
He is the Lord
He is the Lord

A Nice Quote

I saw this quotation on my friend's MSN Messenger Personal Message, and what was said there was quite true.

"A true friend is someone who sees the pain in your eyes while everyone believes the smile on your face."

'so true.

She tries to have the final say
Not wanting other people's opinion
She tries to brainwash

She tries to reinforce her statements
To make us be fed up
And agree with her
Just who the F***
Does she think she is?
Criticising people like that
Sometimes she does not know
How to keep certain things to herself
Sometimes she acts like
She's the more superior one
Screw her that's funny!
Then again
We have to work with her

Match Preview: Manchester United vs Aston Villa

I don't do this often. In fact, I don't even have time for it. However, this is part of my assignment which I shall not bother explaining it. I just want to post it. Please bear in mind that I'm not any football pundit, and whatever analysis I made below may not be true. So here goes.

The Barclays Premier League makes a return after a week of international football and World Cup qualifiers, and there could not be a better match to look out for than the match between Manchester United and Aston Villa.

Both these teams badly needed the break after a string of disastrous results; Manchester United losing two matches back to back, and having three players sent off in the process. Villa meanwhile have not won in the league for the last five games, drawing one and losing the other four, conceding 12 goal with only three in return. This game is, of course as always, a must win match, but for these two teams, it’s not only the points that matters.

About a month plus ago, United surged to the top of the table despite having two games in hand. Their unbeaten run of 13 games stretched all the way back to mid-November, starting with that 5-0 trashing of Stoke. Along the process they kept an astonishing eleven consecutive clean sheets, breaking the longest record ever for such a thing. They also scored 23 goals, though at least almost half of it contained narrow margins victories, and they were totally on course for the title.

However, their last two games saw them concede six goals, scoring one which was a penalty, and not scoring a goal from open play since the goalless draw against Spurs. They also lost star players Nemanja Vidic, Paul Scholes, and Wayne Rooney to the red cards given to them in the last two matches.

Ahead of this match, Sir Alex Ferguson’s first task is to bring back the discipline to the United squad. So much for a team that has been doing so well, and many times being known as “the best squad Ferguson has ever had in over 20 years”, they have totally lost it in the last two games; Cristiano Ronaldo not knowing when or when not to argue with the referee, and Rooney forgetting the rules for a while that he should never, ever, throw the ball to the referee, or not even throw it at all for that matter.

The defense was also in shambles. Two of the goals that were conceded against Liverpool were due to the lack of concentration by two of United’s best defenders, Vidic and fellow partner Rio Ferdinand, and with the latter out with a calf injury, and the former suspended, Ferguson will have a lot of tinkering to do, which would most likely see youngster Rafael da Silva or a half fit Gary Neville playing at right back as John O’Shea moves into the centre-back position with Johnny Evans.

Ferguson will also sorely miss his attacking options up front. Rooney was in such inspirational form during the match against Slovakia and the World Cup qualifier against Ukraine, and that’s what Ferguson would be missing on Sunday. With the fiery England striker suspended, Ferguson will have to rely on his other 3 options: Ronaldo, Argentinian international Carlos Tevez, and Bulgarian front man Dimitar Berbatov. The experience of Scholes will also be missed, but Ferguson has a lot of option in midfield, so that’s not a worry.

Villa meanwhile, is also in about the same trouble as Manchester United. Lack of concentration is also letting them down, which was particularly evident in the games against Stoke and Liverpool. In the game against Stoke, they let go an opportunity to win the game while 2-0 up, and let the Potters crawl their way back into a draw. As for the game against Liverpool, Reo-Coker was the particular victim, as at least two of the goals conceded were due to his bad defending and giving of to much space to Liverpool wide man Albert Riera, which resulted in fouling the Spaniard and leading to the two goals.

The injury to Emile Heskey during international friendly against Slovakia will certainly not help Villa gaffer Martin O’Neill’s cause. The dynamic duo of Ashley Young and Gabriel Ablonglahor’s failure to deliver, the latter in particular being criticised for being off form of late, means O’Neill has only one threat to post at United, which is Norwegian big man John Carew, who scored two of Villa’s three goals in that five games.

There’s also another unwanted distraction for Villa. Gareth Barry, who was in the transfer saga over the move to the red half of Merseyside, is once again in that same saga. Despite saying that he will be focus in the remaining eight games for Villa, questions will be asked about whether he will commit and play his best for his hometown club.

Whatever it may be, pride and position is at stake for both clubs. The fact that Villa played against Liverpool outside the top four for the first time shows how much their results are letting other teams catch up on them, while United’s lead at the top will continue to be cut if they keep on playing like they did. Although it’s Old Trafford, Villa are no pushovers as they won ten of their away games before that defeat to Liverpool, more than any other team in the league. United will also The final outcome of this match, whatever it may be, will very much have an influence on the rest of the league, either the race for the league, or race for fourth place, so just sit back, relax and enjoy the match.
