BUT HE IS BACK!!!! =D

Yeah he's been back for a while now. A week to be precise. But yes KENNY DALGLISH IS BACK AT HELM AT HIS BELOVED CLUB LIVERPOOL.

Surprising? Not really. The Kop have been chanting his name since last year, and it's only a matter of time before Roy Hogdson left.

Things hasn't gone too well since though, with Dalglish losing his first two games, tho he didn't really have time to prepare for the Manchester United game. Apparently, he didn't even had the chance to choose the team sheet. Still, even with 10 men, Liverpool played a more spirited game, thought we lost 1-0. As for the defeat to Blackpool, we started off way too well, scoring with our first shot on goal. However Blackpool overturned the deficit and won 2-1.

And today, we have.... Everton. Yes, the blue half of Merseyside coming over to compete. The fiercest of rivals you can ever get. The last game Kenny Dalglish was in charge before he resigned. 20 years ago. Now he's back. Hopefully with vengence. Half joking.

Anyways, all the best to him and Liverpool, and hopefully he can turn things around. Let's get a win! =D

HE IS STILL HERE

Yes the title says it all. Speculations are flying in hot that he could be fired today, but up till date, NOTHING IS HAPPENING.

In case you don't know who I'm referring to, it's none other than our "beloved" Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson.

Yes, the one that everyone's calling his head for. The one that everyone is looking to get sacked. The one that they hope not to see during Liverpool's next big FA Cup game against Manchester United.

Well, almost everyone.

There are still some people out there who still believes that Roy needs time. Legends are starting to come out to voice their support for a manager who is tearing their club apart. Even Ian Rush has voiced his support for Roy.

Yet 98% of the fans want him out. Anfield is starting to be empty. The away side of the opponents stadium that we play in is getting empty too, especially the recent match at Ewood Park. Fans are starting to show their frustration of Roy not being sacked, and as long as he's there, fans will not pay their hard earned money to watch hoof and wait. Who knows, one day they might even decide to boycott an entire match altogether. I'd like to see that happen.

Thing is, we don't want it to happen. We are Liverpool supporters, and we're proud of the team we support. We don't want to write another bad history in the LFC record books, when LFC has already failed to preserve many histories that should have been easily kept. Defeats to Stoke, Wolves and Northampton has broken unwanted records; attendance during the Bolton game was one of the lowest since 1997. Who wants all these? No fans do. Yet, it's all there, old ones broken, unwanted new ones are created. No thanks to him.

At the same time, the new owners are not doing anything. Recent speculation is that they are not happy, but not sacking him at the same time. Perhaps due to the tight schedule, 'cause after MU we have Blackpool and Everton - teams that could possibly do a double over us. That is perhaps understandable to some extend, but keeping Roy at the dugout is not going to make any difference either.

Enough said. Bottomline: He has to go BEFORE the MU game. And I said "before", because if he's still manager, Liverpool will DEFINITELY crash out of the FA Cup. If Liverpool change their manager now, they might still have a chance. And perhaps that manager could save Liverpool's season. Fingers cross on that though.

I guess only Sir Alex wants him to stay, 'cause only then will he be in the knowledge that Liverpool will continue to struggle, and that he'll have one rival less to compete with for the BPL title (as Spurs and City are on a rise). He'll also be guaranteed that his side will go through the FA Cup with EASE.

Every morning, I wale up, turn on SkySports, hoping to see him get fired. I can only hope that day will come QUICK.

Happy New Year 2011!

Ahha. So here we are. Finally. In a new year.

NEW YEAR DAMN IT!

Something worth being happy about? Don't know, 'cause it all feels the same to me, except for knowing the fact that it's a new year, which means everything starts back in January again. Which also means classes are starting soon. Which is means there are new things to look forward to. New visions. New missions. New plans. New hope. (New earthquake too, again in Chile.)

Really? Unless there are really such gungho people, most people will create New Year Resolutions, and forget about it by the end of January. Then we'll all start to live like usual. Live like last year. Typical? You decide.

Also, people look forward to change, but do they? Especially this group of people. Sigh. The one area that NEEDS such a change. One can only dream.

Let me rephrase that. One can only DARE to dream.

Well, 2011 also marks the last year of my studies. In fact, I only have half a year left. In other words, one more semester. Can't imagine time really flew that fast, since the year I left for Kampar to study. The friends I've made, the things I've learned. Phew.

However, the next important question comes in quickly: What to do after that? Journalist? Teacher? Tutor? Tuition teacher? Football analyse? Football writer?

I wish for the last two but I don't think my dad will support me in that. Musician? I thought of it, but I'm not qualified, especially the theory part. Well, I guess I'll figure it out.

Ohh. 2011 also means it's halfway through the football season. Liverpool is still unbelievably stuck with the same manager, and I use the word "stuck" 'cause we don't want him there, yet he seems to ALWAYS buy himself some time. Everytime he gets his ass on the line, Liverpool become worldbeaters to save his job. He got himself into hot water of late, which I won't bother going into detail. All I know is, we want Roy Hodgson out now. So simple, yet so hard to do. Sigh

I guess that's it then. Wishing all of you folks a blessed new year. May you accomplish whatever you purposed this year in style. God bless.

Busy December

Phew it's been a while ain't it not? Couldn't find the time/inspiration to blog though, as December was a superbly hectic month for me. What's with preparing for Christmas, youth camps, FYP and now making the video for Doreen for her preaching next month. Phew.

Won't go into detail about everything, which means I'll just give a brief summary:

(1) Campus Connect Christmas Celebration: It was good, with me preparing the sketch and Kai Jun preparing the mime. I didn't totally do my part though; I had MJ, Irena and Alex to thank, a lot - Irena and Alex for coming up with the script, and MJ with helping out in the acting. And ohh, PeiLee too. For the idea.

(2) Youth Camp 2010: I praise God for this camp, because it touched me in some ways. God has also shown me that He can work in "funny" ways, and through the camp I was spoken to. I also had the chance to be totally in charge of the equipments and stuff, and the entire camp went well.

(3) FYP: Not too shabby. I finally know what to do for Chapter 1 and 2, though yes I should be in Chapter 3 or 4 by now. =D Working on it still.

(4) Video making: Ahh. This is the hard one. I've made a video once, but I failed miserably. As in, miserably. Blek. But I'm going to do it again though, this time with the help of Joel. =D

Plus the fact that I'm sick now, and my sneezing rate increased a lot of late. This is certainly not an ideal way of ending 2010.

But well, I did have a rare family trip with my family. For once we were all free =D

I guess I'll cya 2011. =)

Appreciation

He saw his dad lying on the chair. His dad's hair was a bit messy, which made it look even worse. His face looked superbly tired.

Man he looks dead.

"Snap out of it!" he thought to himself. "He's only sick." Just sick. Cough, sore throat. The usual.

But it looked so real.

For that 5 seconds (ok I made that up), and for once in his life, he had that fear in his heart. The kind of fear that purged right in to the bottom of his heart. The kind of fear that makes one re-thinks about life. The kind of fear that makes one think, about life and death.

His father was sick since Tuesday. Finishing an entire strip of anti-biotics and a whole bottle of cough mixture didn't help one bit. It only probably stopped it from getting worse. He took his father to the doctor, and the doctor gave him new medication.

What struck him was this: his father is only sick, but already looks so bad. What more if he had something worse? What will happen when next time, his father requires operation?

It reminded him of this cliche often repeated: "Life is short." It's what people add AFTER it that doesn't make it sound nice sometimes. However, there are those who add this: "Life is short. Appreciate your love ones."

It also reminded him of the word "responsibility". When his father "goes", he'll be in charge of taking of the family, even though he has an older sister. What's he going to do then? He's not prepared. Or at least he feels he isn't. Yet.

Whatever it is, he will have to look forward. The only problem will be the manner in which he looks forward with, though there isn't any doubt who to look forward with. ;)
