AT LONG LAST...

It has been FAR TOO LONG.. But finally the jinx at Stamford Bridge has been ended! Chelsea's proud record of their 86 match unbeaten run at home has finally ended, and at the same the, it was Liverpool who ended it! This also means they ended their jinx against the Blues, having not won at the Bridge for 4 years. Xabi Alonso's early deflected strike was enough to see off Chelsea, though he should have added a second when his free-kick hit the post in the second half. So here it is again..

LIVERPOOL HAS BEATEN CHELSEA!

Here's the match in pictures:

Rafa : Alright Stevie, this is our chance. Go Go Go!

First Blood: Alonso scores the opening goal. Turned out to be the winning one.

Hey Chelsea! Alonso is his name!

Arbeloa : OMG.. Erm, ref, Malouda's head's missing.. Oh sorry, it's behind the ball

Carra : Hey, I remember you. You're the one who missed that open goal while you were at Bolton.

Chelsea's wall (L-R) Deco, J.O. Mikel, Lamps, Terry, F.D. Santos, Anelka

Terry : Hey ref, what the heck are you doing behind? You wanna help us? zZz

Off the hook: Alonso reacting after his freekick hit the post..

You wanna piece of me boy?

Rafa vs Scolari - Interesting match ups..

The faces of joy (Alonso) and dejection (Deco)

Stevie: Hey Fabio, we've done it. We're now on top..

Words will never be able to describe how these lads feel..

Well, neither can the fans..

Final score : Chelsea 0 Liverpool 1

Another Crap..

"Life in ten years," I mumbled to myself. In Mississippi, the liquor stores are locked up on Election Day, as if the other voters would otherwise get drunk and elect the wrong people. Another unbelievable law.

"You got it," Harry Rex said, then finished his sandwich with one huge bite. He pulled an envelope off a sehlf, opened it, and slid a large black-and-white photo across to me. "Busted, buddy," he said with a laugh.

It was a photo of me, making my quick exit from Ginger's room at the motel on Thursday morning. I looked tired, hungover, guilty of something, but oddly satisfied.

"Who took this?" I asked

"One of my boys. He was working on a divorce case, saw your little Communist car pull in that night, decided to have some fun."

"He wasn't the only one."

"She's a hot one. He tried to shoot through the curtains, but couldn't get an angle."

"Shall I autograph it for you?"

"Just keep it."

Feeling the dumps..

Ever felt like an asshole? Well, believe it or now, I'm feeling it now. So out of it I create a new quotation. Here goes.

"There are some things in this world NOT WORTH OBEYING."

How Brief Our Life..

“Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered, and that my life is fleeing away.” Psalms 39:4

I read this Bible verse in a book called “What Really Counts”. This verse was found in the first chapter of that book, where it’s talking about life. What was said in this particular chapter was important, teaching you to realize between what really matter and what doesn’t. It also teaches you to find your purpose in life. The author then ended this chapter with the verse above, and that was what struck me.

This verse has got me thinking – it says “Remind me brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days will be numbered, and that my time is fleeing away.” To different people, it could mean differently: to a certain group, it could mean that one should all the more enjoy life, since it’s so “brief”; to another, it could mean that one should serve God all of our days because our life is short.

One thing is for sure: We will all die one day. So what if you can break the record of being the longest living person on earth, you’ll still die in the end. Some do not even have the chance to have a glance at this world God has created. Others die in many different ways and of different ages. The thing is, we do not know when we will die. We can be alive and kicking for a moment, and the next we see ourselves in front of an angel.

Knowing all these, plus applying what was said in the verse, will make people choose the former option. Since they would not know when their life will end, they will most likely say, “I must enjoy life now, for I don’t even know whether I will live to enjoy tomorrow.” “I want to fulfill my dreams, get a good job, be rich, get married, and have a family.” Yes, all these are important, and I’m sure that God also wants you to have fun and live a good life. Then what about serving Him, or giving Him back praises and offering He deserves? Why don’t we say this too, “I want to reach out to my friends, and see him/her come to know Christ”, “I want to serve Him with the talents He has given me”?

It’s very rare of people to say that. Not even I myself think of it. I find myself dragging my feet every morning, doing almost the same thing everyday, being busy with a lot of things, including my own emotional matters , and not thinking about how God can actually help me. I find myself having a lot of time for other things, yet not having time for God. And the verse says that our time here on earth is brief. Well, I’ll be damned.

Living as a Christian, one has surely been taught to live for Christ. Since our time is brief, we might never know whether we will live for Christ tomorrow too. Yeah, we want our personal achievements and dreams too, but surely there must be time for God too. If we go to church just to play church, then sorry to say, you’ve just wasting your time.

I’m not going to say, or stress, or even suggest about what you need to do in your life. You are living your own life, which means you have the freedom to choose what to do with it. However, do choose it wisely, and do take heed of the verse. Make sure you have time for God. You may never know, the devotion you did today could be your last.

A crappy crap..

"Since Lucien Wilbanks was one of the least popular men in Clanton, I included him in the fray. Using the phone, which I was quickly learning was a great equalizer, I called his office four times before he called me back. At first he had no comments abo9ut his client or the charges, but when I persisted with questions about his treatment at the jail he erupted. "I don't run the damned jail, son!" he growled, adn I could almost see his red eyes glowing at me. I quoted him on that.

"Have you interviewed your client at the jail?" I asked.

"Of course."

"What was he wearing?"

"Don't you have better things to report?"

"No sir. What was he wearing?"

"Well, he wasn't naked."

That was too good a quote to pass up, so I put it in bold print in a side bar."

Ish.. How low can one go?

My room is rented! OMG! Totally speechless now. My plan has failed. TOTALLY. I wouldn't go into detail about the plan though. Long story that. However, the amazing thing is, not only was my room taken, so was the masterbedroom! On the SAME FREAKING DAY! How did that happen?! It can't be!

I have to find another room now. G_G Was hoping that I can still stay there. Now it looks like I have to find someplace else. Sobxx

My results sucked too.

Thank you God

Thank You God
For this day that You have given to me
Thank You God
For every new day, which means I am alive and able to live
Thank You God
For this world which You have created
Thank You God
For the animals of the jungle
Birds of the sky
And fishes of the sea
Thank You God
For the greens of the earth
Thank You God
For this place called earth
Where we humans can live in
Thank You God
For creating us humans
In which came technology
In which I also thank You God for it

Thank You God
For making us beings
Which can breath/smell, see, touch/sense
Taste/eat, hear/listen, and talk/interact
Thank You God
For making us beings
That has legs to walk with
That has hands to work with
Thank You God
For making us whole

Thank You God
For providing for us
Food, lodging, and water
Thank You God
For houses, apartments and hotels
For giving us bed to rest on, clothes to wear
In which it has helped us to survive

Thank You God
For the parents You have given us
For the siblings that were born with us
For the relatives that are part of our family
Thank You God
For the people around us
For the friends You have blessed us with
And other people who have, are, and will play important roles in our lives
Thank you God
For the friends that has come through our lives
That even though they come and go
Thank you God for them
What else can I thank You for
I can't think of it at the moment
But the bottom line is
Thank You God

Amen

It takes time to realise that..

In this life

There are those who want to love
And those who want to be loved

There are those who give
and those who always expect

There are those who make things happen
and those who wait for things to happen.

In this life

There are those who accept
and those who wants to be accepted

There are those who take action without waiting
and those who wait without taking any action

There are those who think about others
and those who want others to think of them

In this life

There are those who do not like to wait for others
and do not like others to wait for them

There are those who want others to care for them
and don’t care about others

There are those who want the gift
and do not thank the giver

In this life

There are those who like to disturb
and do not like to be disturbed

There are those who like to correct
and do not like to be corrected

There are those who likes to control
and do not like to be controlled

In this life

There are those who like to receive
and does not like to give

There are those who like to say a lot
and do not take any action

There are those who like to laugh at others
and are not sporting

In this life

There are those who like to lead
but does not like to follow

There are those who like to talk
and does not like to listen

There are those who like to grab attention
and does not like to give it to others

This is the world.
